Mu Yeon is deeply in love with his foster father, a courtesan, but the latter was taken over by the imoogi, Baek Sa. Despite Mu Yeon's hatred towards Baek Sa, who intends to use his foster father to ascend to Heaven, Mu Yeon finds himself unable to thoughtlessly harm his foster father's physical body.
